 King of Pop Star Michael Jackson Michael Jackson King of the World Pop Music and world’s greates entertainer ended his life abruptly and tragically on Thursday, June 25, 2006 in his home the Neverland City in Los Angeles, California, USA. His body was laid at the LA Hospital for a medical investigation for a possibility of unnatural detah. He died after being injected with a painkiller medicine by a medical voluntereer who responded to his call for a help. During the past few weeks he had been very busy preparing for a Superstar greatest comeback of all time in July 2009, however, with God’s will, his life was cut shockingly and misteriously short. Michael had a long journey to achieve the rank of a world’s greatest Superstar since he started singing at the age of 10. No one singer had achieved the popularity as great as him as a superstar till now. His fans all over the world start scrambling to by his popular musical collections in stores everywhere. It is predicted that his funeral will be attended by more people than the death of Princes Diana. However, his body was retorned to the custody of his family on Saturday, and no news yet about the place where his body will buried. It could be that the family wanted the funeral be conducted privately. Let us all pray to God the Almighty for forgiveness to the Superstar, and may his soul rest in peace in heaven.  Top Singer Rossa Top Indonesian lady singer Sri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani, popularly named Rossa or Ocha earlier this week filed a divorce from her husband after a five-year old marriage. Her husband Yoyo, a guitarist of the Padi Musical Band gave no comment on this news. Rossa said that the reason of her planned divorce is that she no longer can trust her husband after she found him out having an affair with another woman in 2007. Their marriage was celebrated in 2004 in the city of Sumedang, West Java, Rossa’s home town, in a great party that attended almost by the whole people of the city. That day the city was completely on a holiday, because everyone attended Rossa’s marriage ceremony. She was paraded like a queen along the city, wearing a white dress and a sacred crown of the former Kingdom of Sumedang. Rossa and Yoyo had one beatiful baby that will be loved by both parents, eventhough they decided to get a divorced. We all regret that such a harmonious marriage had to be ended in a short time.  Ambassador Dai Bachtiar The Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will summon Manohara for her accusation about the slow response of her request to get a help from the Embassy, so that she can leave the Sultanage of Kelantan to go to Indonesia. Her mother’s appeal was also not responded promptly by the Embassy, so that she suffered longer under the confinement at the palace. Meanwhile, in the latest development, Manohara’s lawyer, OC Kaligis said that he quit to defend Manohara and her mother Deasy Fajarina, because they did not quickly reported to the Indonesian Police about her accusation of being mstreated while she was living at the palace of Kelantan Sultanage. The lawyer originally planned to bring the case to the International Court of Justice.  Manohara Odelia Pinot On Sunday, the 31st of May, Manohara Odelia Pinot arrived safely in Indonesia after such a long painful life journey as the wife of Prince of Kelantan Sultanage, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry since October 2008. Her life experience had made months of Headlines in Indonesian News and Television media, the latest was her narrow escape from her husband at an exclusive hotel in Singapore through the assistance of FBI and Singapore Police. For several months her mother, Mrs. Desy Fajarina had made a long campaign to visit her daughter Manohara in her Sultan Kelantan Palace. She was banned to enter Malaysia. She had also asked the assistance of the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysi, but with no result. She then asked the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia, but also without any result. Mrs. Desy Fajarina then turned to Indonesian News and TV media for a campaign the return of her daughter Manohara from Malaysia because she had a message for a help from Manohara. She claimed that Manohara had been badly treated by her husband, and was locked inside the Palace. After the narrow escape of Manohara from a hotel in Singapore, many Indonesia officials made press releases to defend against the claim of Manohara and many Indonesian citizens living abroad that they were never been given assistance and protection whenever they had difficulties and problems while in a foreign country. The Government of Indonesia must start to reform the Indonesian embassies abroad, so as to make them to give protection and care the Indonesian citizens while abroad.  Ny. Ani Yudhoyono Ibu Ani Yudhoyono, the wife of Mr. Presiden Candidates RI Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono requested by the Party Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) and Partai Persatuan Builders (PPP) as delivered by Secretary General of the PKS Mahfud Sidik yesterday. Similarly wife of Vice President Boedino Candidates are requested to wear jilbab as a sign that they are representing the Islamic parties in the nomination support their husbands as a Candidate Candidates for President and Vice President in the round of Elections President and Vice President of the 2009-2014 period will come. Mahfud Sidik  Cici Faramida A well known senior Dangdut Singer Cici Paramida was married to a Javanese Businessman on March 12, 2009 at the Holy City of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The wedding ceremony was conducted by Consul General of Indonesia and attended by the great family of Cici who live in Saudi Arabia. Her husband, a rich business from Central Java claimed to be a single man. However there was a rumor that the marriage was not approved by the children of Cici’s husband. The family declined to comment on the marriage. We all like to congratulate Cici for her first marriage. May God bless the marriage and may Cici and her new husband live happily ever after.  Shela Marcia Popular Artist and Advertising Model Sheila Marcia may decide to stay away from the bad Jakarta Metropolitan life environment that cause her to be caught by narcotics agents for consuming narcotics, after she experienced a 7-month detention. Her mother said that she may stay with her in Bali that she considered to have a better life envoronment for the young Artist, and in addition she could also watch her life activities. Sheila appeared very happy and will not repeat her bad experience of consuming narcotics with her friends in Jakarta. We hope that Sheila will have a happy life in the Island of Paradise in Bali, Indonesia.  NTU's Top Student Nanyang Technological University of Singapore is one of the top world’s research univerity that recently has made progress equalling to MIT or Harvard University of the USA. It recruits top students from all over the world to study at the university by giving good amount of scholarship. It is well known as a great global university founded on science and technology. Nurturing creative and entrepreneurial leaders through a broad education in diverse environment. Pushing students to reach their top performance is a good strategy to obtain successful graduates that will be successful in their future careers. However, pushing them beyond their normal capabilities may cause stress and mental stability that may result in unexpected acts by some students that no longer bear the heavy stresses. This could be the cause of the tragedy involving an Indonesian top student, DHW, whos scholarship was terminated one monrh ago for unknown reason. He then had argument with his professor that ended with the stabbing of the professor by the student. He then decided to commit suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the NTU building. We can now wisely take a lesson from this tragedy. It is no use to push student to top performance through methods beyonds their normal capabilities, without carefully monitoring the effect to the behaviour of the students. Let us carefully reconsider mehiods used in each of our university campuses, if we have done the best educational process to get the best output of our students for their best future careers.
 Dhani Ahmad of Dewa Band Dhani Ahmad of the “Dewa” musical band will give the music lovers a new receipt to have three wives through a lyrics in his coming musical album featuring The Stranger with a title called “Madu Tiga” or “Three Wives (Honeys)”. He advises if an older wife will no longer care about him, then go to a younger wife. If the two wives also no longer care about him, then get a third wife. The song with the same title was originally created in Malaysia and sang by a popular Malaysian actor P. Ramlee in the 1960’s a soundtrack record. The musical comedy film was made as a social criticism against supporters of polygamy in Malaysia at that time. The film was awarded as the Best Musical Comedy in Asian Film Festival held in Taipei, Taiwan. We hope that Dhani’s new album wil become a Top Hit in Indonesia.  Dewi Persik In her last statement of Dewi Persik, a popular Indonesian dangdut singer, Dewi said that she was married to Aldi Taher at midnight witnessed by her father at the home of her lawyer. This end the rumours that had been circulated for some months abouth the truth of their marriage. This news was published in the headlines of several newspapers and online news. It was also reported in morning TV news of many TV stations in Jakarta in their infotainment programs almost every morning. However, there were still several facts that most reporters would loke to know in more details, such as Dewi relationship with her boyfriend from Holland, Mr. Ferry Farid Yusuf, who claimed that he also had had a siri mariiage with Dewi Persik in 2008. Her ex-husband Saiful Jamil said that he cannot trust Dewi’s statements. |
