Manohara Odelia Pinot returned back safely to Indonesia

On Sunday, the 31st of May, Manohara Odelia Pinot arrived safely in Indonesia after such a long painful life journey as the wife of Prince of Kelantan Sultanage, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry since October 2008. Her life experience had made months of Headlines in Indonesian News and Television media, the latest was her narrow escape from her husband at an exclusive hotel in Singapore through the assistance of FBI and Singapore Police.

For several months her mother, Mrs. Desy Fajarina had made a long campaign to visit her daughter Manohara in her Sultan Kelantan Palace. She was banned to enter Malaysia. She had also asked the assistance of the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysi, but with no result. She then asked the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia, but also without any result.

Mrs. Desy Fajarina then turned to Indonesian News and TV media for a campaign the return of  her daughter Manohara from Malaysia because she had a message for a help from Manohara. She claimed that Manohara had been badly treated by her husband, and was locked inside the Palace.

After the narrow escape of Manohara from a hotel in Singapore, many Indonesia officials made press releases to defend against the claim of Manohara and many Indonesian citizens living abroad that they were never been given assistance and protection whenever they had difficulties and problems while in a foreign country. The Government of Indonesia must start to reform the Indonesian embassies abroad, so as to make them to give protection and care the Indonesian citizens while abroad.
